NFL Street Site (http://www.easportsbig.com/games/nflstreet/home.jsp)

I just ran across this today when I decided to drool some more over NCAA2004. (Which I am picking up on my way home from work, btw) I like the concept. EA's answer to Blitz, but it isn't even TRYING to be real football. Granted, Blitz (which I have only played maybe 1 time, and an older version) doesn't go for realism either, but taking the game off the field could really do wonders for this niche, IMO. And NBA Street was a decent success, so something to build on from there. I will definitely be renting instead of buying this one though, as NBA Street grew stale for me in about 2 days.

One thing I'm mildly surprised about is that the NFL is behind this one. It comes off as pretty violent, which is something I thought they frowned upon.

Worth checking out during the doldrums of next year I suppose.

They should just call the game "Look! We put Barry Sanders in a new game!" and be done with it.

Stupid football players...

The only thing that games like Blitz and this newest one are good for is Tournaments.. You know, Old School Tourneys, with 7 or 8 Buddies hangin' out at somebody's place, throwin' down a few cold ones and going at it on the Big-Screen..

Might be worth a look.
