I thought this was going to be about Joe Borchard.

I am sorry Shorty. When Antonio Silva comes down with a career ending injury, we can make fun of Swaggs.

I think that's unlikely now that Swaggs is commish. Did anyone notice that Silva's player info section contains the line:
"Injured on 7/23/2008 with a Fractured Skull, out for entire car^H^H^H^H^H^H^H out for three days."

Drat, foiled again!

I thought Horns showed me how to do that the right way. I guess it is back to tossing darts at Blue Jays...

While you are "fixing" players, make sure you bump Zito back up to what he is supposed to be. (8/8/7 in case you forgot).

While we're making requests, I'm pretty sure Mark Prior should be making about $10 Million a year. Feel free to IM me after that is fixed :)

I swear that wasn't the stupidest signing ever... I did get a lot from Chicago for him though, but it doesn't appear that he is the smartest guy around...

Hey, don't blame Neq for thinking the Bulls will be good anytime soon:D

Just started a manager career and I wanted a challenge so I started out with Cincy. Well, talk about the lows:

Wins : 64, Losses : 98, Pct. : .395, Position in Division : 6, 24.0 games behind leader.

And I'd gotten a lot better near the end of the year, and I was able to score a two year contract afterwards.

He meant the OTHER Chicago team, silly.

Please excuse Bug, the excitement of not finishing in last place for the first time has set off a buzz in KC.

The High: Pitching

One month into the season 4 out of 5 of my starters have an ERA under 3.00, plus we got a fireballer who's up in Triple-AAA now after striking out 85 in 45 innings.

The Low: Run Support

Of four of previously said starters, only one of them has a winning record.

Woohoo! My #1 starter who I landed getting rid of the fictional equivalent of Griffey last year just agreed to an extension of 2 years at $950,000, taking a paycut from nearly 8 million and ensuring he will retire in Cincy.

Heartbreak ensues when I sit at #3 on the draft board and my guy goes #1 overall. Probably shouldn't have thought 19 year old left fielder who had brilliants across the board would be someone two teams would pass up on, but there's always hope for something like that. Hell, Cleveland passed on Darko.

Anyway, the newest member of the team is 19 year old Leftfielder Matthew Goodwin, who while only Average at contact, is brilliant in power and patience. Plus our scouts scored him at an A in outfield arm and stealing bases, and he's said to have great leadership abilities. The next Barry Bonds minus the asshole part? We hope so.

Man will it stink when Acosta turns into a F/F/F lefthanded catcher after tonight.

Underachieved? Winning the division 5 of 6 yrs is underachieving. At least i know what the playoffs are like.

Wow, this Mr. Bug must not be a very good GM. Who's second to last on the list? Chief Rum?
