Man did I screw up?

I have been having problems being able to Coach a game in FOF4. It kept giving me an error message"a required source is unavailable". So at this point I have had enough, so I uninstalled it and was going to try to install it all over again. Then updating the latest patches. However in my way of thinking I did not save my registration number, so that I could install it again........uugghh. Please tell me that my computer saves this info somewhere else, or in my dismay I have to send a letter and $1.00 dollar to get this replaced? They said it could take up to a month. Thats a long time. Has anyone eperienced this or can offer me any help. Thanks
