ESPN comes up #17 on the entire net for hits today. Pretty damn good.

I've been to yahoo once this year and only to find a map. I didn't even find what I wanted so I went elsewhere. I know many have accounts through yahoo but enough to make them #1?

Lots of dorks log onto Yahoo all the time.

They probably get a hit every time someone uses their messenger app, and they also have stuff like personals, clubs, games, auctions, e-mail, etc.

I'll be participating in a fantasy football league on yahoo this year. My first ever on there. I know they are one of the only free resources for that. With all the geeks like me out there, that must be good for a few hits.

I have a my.yahoo page, yahoo web mail serves as my "business" (ebay, online purchase, etc) address because it's better than hotmail, and I have fantasy sports there now that Sandbox is down and out. Not only that but it's a popular search engine (yahoo's categories on top of with google underneath), they have affiliates for practically every country, and an ungodly ammount of stuff on there. Not only that but it's pretty much been around the net since day 1 and actually turns a profit. They have a big name and are an internet icon.

Are you really that suprised that Yahoo is #1?
