Here are a few questions for TCY players (with my own answers as well):

What is your own longest winning streak?

Syracuse - 22

What is the longest winning streak for anyone?

UCLA - 46

How do the number of championships stack up (has anyone been the dominant force over the years themselves?):

24 seasons:

UCLA 13
Syracuse 3

I actually count performance ranking as well when determining titles - so there can be split national champions - by that measure I have 3.5.

Does anyone have what stands out as their toughest loss?

I just had mine. Last season's title game. Halftime score: Syracuse 31 UCLA 7

UCLA comes up with a 4th down outside our 40 but we keep their drive alive with a Roughing the Kicker penalty. Play after that is a 28 yard TD pass. After the miss the 2 point conversion it's 31-13. We come back with a long TD pass, making it 38-13. Unfortunately, that was just about our last 1st down of the game (we had returned the opening kickoff 105 yards for a TD and a blocked FG for a TD in the first half - for some background).

Anyway, UCLA drives quickly to make it 38-20 and then a couple of plays later my QB fumbles it away on a sack - defense holds them to a FG. We punt and they drive down to make it 38-30 with a full quarter to go. We do nothing again - they drive inside our 10 but we hold them to a FG (38-33). I think there was one drive in the second half where we actually stopped them in the 4th quarter. Anyway, nothing for us again - they drive down for the lead at 39-38. That was the final - we actually had the ball twice more in the last 2 1/2 minutes but did absolutely nothing (in part due to some great calls by my offensive coordinator - wasting one series by running on the first two downs with a single back offense and one of the best passing attacks in college football).

Yes, they don't get any worse than that - in the championship game no less.

P.S. Several years back UCLA had come up to the Carrier Dome and trailed 31-0 with about 17 minutes to go. They managed to get that game to OT - tying it up with about :05 to go - but we won 38-31 in OT.

Are there any particularly amazing game, season or career records that should be shared with the rest of us?

I'll come back to that one myself later.
