I gotta go with FBPro on this one, the Cobra is my dream car as well.

And for a runner up, the Lexus SC 430. How cool is a car that with the press of a button will lower the top for you, and then when it's finished turn up the radio by itself so you can hear it over the rush of the wind? :)

Is that an old-school Porchse? I though the only Porches made are the 911 (?) ana Boxtser.

Yeah, the 959 was a project started in the mid-eighties and perfected in the late eighties to early ninties...

Click on the link for the "True Story of the 959" (http://autozine.kyul.net/959/959_1.htm).

Oh, and don't forget that Porsche is also currently producing the Cayanne...

I would have to say that a minivan was my best, and still is my favorite car ever.

When I was in a band, the van was the greatest thing I owned. I could haul my drums, and still have room for my wife to ride along (unlike my little mazda 323). If I wanted to go to concerts, I would leave the back seat in and take out the middle seat. That way the people in back have tons of leg room and you could easily fit coolers and stuff in it as well. You can go camping in it. You can still trick it out if you wanted to.

My wife does not agree.

Oh, and the 959 is the greates Porsche ever built. The price that you posted JeeberD, was that the origional price? Aren't they pretty much priceless now?

I remember Seinfeld driving one in an Am Ex commercial years ago.

Here's my dream car. A '69 Ford Mustang Mach 1. I finally went out and got this one a little over a year ago.

Seriously - at some point, I wouldn't mind having a truck like that in a restored state. As a kid, my dad had an old green pickup sitting on the side of the house that was in that style (I'll have to ask him what the exact make/year was). My brother and I would play in it all of the time, it was the coolest thing. It had a distinctive musty smell to it from sitting out so long - one that if I smell today, reminds me of that old truck.

I'm pretty sure that's the original price. I just snagged that info from a website, but you're right, they've gotta be worth much, much more than that by now...
