Its offical, the warriors are going to suck...again. With offers from Washington and LA that are way too rich for the warriors, Gilbert Arenas will not be back. I was actually stupid enough to think that the Warriors would get a break, but now they are going to be in the toliet. Gary St. Jean, in his great wizardry, did not draft a point guard in the first round and now the Warriors are stuck with no one to run the offence from the point.

Hopefully Arenas does not go to the balckhole that is the Clippers. Don't do it Arenas go anywhere except the Clippers!

They are expecting Dunleavy to run the point, and for some reason they think that they'll be a decently competitive team with him as their #1. Call me skeptical, but I don't think it's going to work.

I'm really sad that Arenas is going...count me among those who had deluded himself into hoping he'd stay.

I think Dunleavy has the skills to do it, as I thought he was the best of the 3 Duke players from 2 years ago. I just don't think he is ready physically. He's tall enough and smart enough, I just don't think he is fast enough, and there isn't enough muscle on him to even knock guys off on the drive. He needs a few more years, although it looked at the time like he was the most complete of the Duke players to leave. Guess Golden State can do that to a guy

Still, with the lucky hiring of an up and comer like Jordan and a respected basketball mind like Grunfield, I have to say I am once again optimistic. Gone are the days of the blundering Wes Unseld or the egomanical Michael Jordan. I hope.

Still, the Curse of Les Boulez is all-powerful. We'll see how this pans out.
