I am headed out to Pacific Bell Park on Monday to see the Giants take on the Diamondbacks. Although I used to average around ten baseball games a year, these days my declining health and economic level only allow me to attend one game every year or two.

I was basically window shopping for tickets at the Giant's website when I found a seat in the third row, right near first base. I decided to treat myself to an early 40th birthday present to the tune of $78 total...ouch.

I have been to many baseball games in my life, but at this stage of my life I find myself really treasuring the experience much more than in my younger days.

Have fun. Pac Bell Park is a gem, with only a small section of bad seats in the upper deck. Otherwise there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Thanks. This will be my third visit and fourth game at Pac Bell. With the unusually warm weather we have been having lately, it should be a great night out there tonight.

I will be going to see a game in Philly in two weeks...needless to say, I think Pac Bell is a much nicer stadium :D

But next year in Philly, they should have a nice ballpark!

Wow. What a great night.

Giants came from behind to beat Arizona, extending their leads over the Diamondbacks and Dodgers.

Grissom grounded into a double play to end the first inning. Overbay, the first baseman, casually lobbed the ball into the seats...right into my hand. First souvenier baseball for me in about 70 games attended.

A beautiful woman sat next to me on the train home. I struck up a conversation. I was funny. I was not cocky.

I got her phone number. :D
