OK...so...um...I feel like an even bigger dork than usual for admitting this, but I actually had a dream/nightmare about Hattrick last night, and I thought it might be amusing to share it with y'all. Now, dreams about Hattrick are not a common occurence with me - in fact, this was the first, and hopefully last, time such a thing has happened - so I was quite shocked when I woke up with this dream fresh in my head:
I had logged in to Hattrick to check on the player aging update. I clicked on the "players" page and was quite surprised to see all of my little supporter-provided player faces had changed a bit: all of my players had gray hair. "That's odd," I can remember thinking, "but maybe they're all doing an Andy Warhol thing." But then I noticed that all of my players were suddenly 67 or so years old, had lost almost all of their skills, and were making about $10k each in weekly wages.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I was blissfully dragged from that dream before it could go any further, but was left feeling quite unsettled. I suspect that my unsettled feeling was not so much due to what had happened to my players, but rather because I had actually dreamt of Hattrick.
