I'm in the mood to take in a ballgame, but not really in the mood to go alone. If anybody else is in the area and wants to go, lemme know in the next couple hours so I can figure out whether to make the trip or not.

If I was in LA, I'd be up for a Dodger game ... to root for the other team of course. :D

Actually who are the Dodgers playing. That would actually make the difference on who I went for.

The Rockies. Ishii facing, um...Darren Oliver.

Josh,

If no one offers to go with you, don't hesitate to go alone.

My own solo baseball experience this week turned out better than I could have imagined. You will most likely end up with a much better seat if you only need a single.

I hope you do go...have fun!

Bad-example - I go by myself all the time, nothin' I'm not used to.

Just, t'night...in the mood for some company, since nobody else has really been home for the last several days. I'm feeling a little bit like a hermit. Heh.

OK I'd root for the Dodgers. ;)

Hey Sack, I might be watching the USA-Brazil game, but I might be willing to go...

We can dicuss our Kobe Defense.

However, if I see any Cardinal and Gold, it's off! LOL

SackAttack

Damn straight you would. ;)

MrBug - cardinal and gold? USC? That's Dad's alma mater, not mine. ;) I'm all about the M-I-Z to the Z-O-U, yo.

If anybody else wants to go, MrBug and I will be meeting up in the parking lot in CF around 6:15. I'll be wearing a blue-green Hawaiian shirt, a Dodger cap, and glasses, and he'll be wearing whatever he's wearin', I dunno. :p

See y'all there, if anybody else wants to go.

Damn, too bad I'm back home for my lil' bro's 21st birthday. It's not too bad a drive from Santa Barbara to LA, and if you guys wouldn't have minded putting up with a *gasp* Giants fan, it would have been a blast to go. Living in SoCal for college, I'm used to putting up with Dodger fans, and I love baseball so much I don't mind watching the hated Dodgers. Anytime you guys are up for a game in the future, I'd be happy to tag along conditions permitting :)

It was pretty cool. We sat along the outfield fence on the field level. If you watch Sportscenter, you might see me on LoDuca's double. I never saw so many hit batters. I was fantasizing about Bonds getting hit everytime

Even though I'm not a Dodgers fan, I'll admit they have one of the best old parks in baseball. Add great weather (even at night) to the mix, a good crowd, and it's not a bad deal. Still one of my favorite stadiums to watch a game.

Just watched the SportsCenter highlights for that game, but they didn't show the LoDuca double. And I was all ready to look for a goofy lookin blonde dude in a red shirt... :D

Real nice attitude you have there.

Just like Barry ;)

It was nuts, I asked 'em for the closest seats they had to the field, and they took me *literally*. We were right behind the wall down the left field line.

Even better, I won four free tickets to the Dodgers/Reds game on the 7th, so I may have some freebies to spread around in two weeks.

Heh....on Olivers double, you can see us sitting.

Why do I have a bad attitude. Not like it'll hurt Barroid, the human armor plate!

Uh huh. You were fantasizing about Barry getting hit but not hurt. Right.

Roll your eyes all you like.

Your meaning was quite clear before you tried backtracking.

I hate the Dodgers but have enough class not to wish injuries on them.

Like I said, where did I wish injury on them? Ishii hit 3 batters last night. How many are hurt?

Giants fans.........sheesh!

I gotta say, even though I'm a Giants fan I'm with MrBug on this one. I'm fairly certain that was just a snipe at Barry, not a true wish to see him injured.

So he was fantasizing about Barry getting harmlessly plunked and getting a free pass to first base. Wow, what a wild fantasy.
