View Full Version : Madden- PC or Xbox?

Here is the thing. I've got NCAA 2004 for the Xbox, and I like to draft players from it to Madden, but as you are probably aware I play "coach-only." The Xbox version doesn't offer it, but the PC (usually) does. I had last years game for the Xbox, and I really missed having the coach-only option (having to fight the AI cheats, just like I'm doing for this years NCAA). This year, the Xbox will have accelerated clock mode, which is real useful.

Which way should I go?

I miss the ability to see NCAA on something that doesn't look like a 1980s-era PC EGA resolution. :)

I'm going PS2 AND PC :)

Exactly! Why even make a decision, buy both!

Good thing I don't have an X-Box...and that you can't buy NCAA 2004 from any stores here in Edmonton...

Guess it doesn't sell to well here!

Well, the obvious solution would be for EA to publish NCAA for the PC. But I guess we know THAT won't happen.

I wish I could afford both. I'm lucky I can afford both NCAA and Madden.

Is the coach only mode good for the PC version? Last year I never used the offical coach only mode, I simply ran "pro" settings and didn't move the joystick.

I thought EA-Sports and X-Box had parted ways. Didn't they release a news statement about 2 months ago that EA would no longer create titles for the X-Box?

To the best of my knowledge, no.

I sure wouldn't burn any bridges with Microsoft.

I think what you're talking about is a few months ago when EA basically said that none of their titles will be out with XBOX LIVE capabilities, stemming from a dispute between who should see most of the revenue from the online side of the game.

EA SPORTS will continue to support xbox. PS2 though will remain the choice if you wish to play online.
