So I fired up the old World Cup '98 since I am extremely bored while sitting around with icepacks on my face since I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday. After I tried to uninstall WC98, my computer froze so I CNTRL-ALT-DELETED my way out of the frozen program and tried to uninstall it again.

This time I get the following error message:
"Unable to locate the installation log file 'C:\Program Files\EA Sports\World Cup 98\DeIsL1.isu'. Uninstallation will not continue."

Does anyone know of a way around this error message to uninstall the game? Thanks for any help and sorry for always asking the dumb questions.

Use add/remove programs in the control panel.

You may need to completely re-install the game to the same directory and then un-install...

The problem is that I can't reinstall the game. It just sits there after I use the Run command and/or work off the Autorun feature. EA has notoriously poor customer service and this is a game which is five years old.

That said, I appreciate the input everyone.
