Stringer's widow to sue NFL on Monday

Doesn't deserve a dime. In fact, she should be forced to pay back what money she has already collected from the Vikings and acknowledge that her husband was an unresponsible druggie.

Wow, she's getting desperate. Lawsuit against the Vikings failed when it was thrown out, so now she's going at the whole league.

Part of her lawsuit said that tests did not find any ephedra based supplements in his system, even though they didn't even test him for it. They even found bottles of ephedra based products in his locker, though she still claimed he hadn't taken any and it was the teams fault.

It stated part of the reason the Vikings suit failed is because there's a limit on the amount of money she could have got from them. In other words, she couldn't get her 100million from the Vikings, so she's got her sites set on the league.

Look, I feel for the loss of her husband, but now she just looks money hungry. Is there no accountability for the husband who continued to practice knowing he was sick, and taking enhancement substances that produce heart problems? Of course not, apparently a grown man can't make his own decisions. What a way to leave a legacy....it's so sad.

I'm just curious to see what she does if the suit against the league fails, which I'm sure it will. Would she go after the company/companies that makes the ephedra based products in a product liability suit. Are there ample warnings on the bottles?

But considering that she is using the fact that there weren't any ephedra based products in his system in her lawsuit, she would REALLY seem money hungry if she went after the drug makers. Just a thought.

Considering that a few of the ephedra companies are being sued by the baseball widow, don't be surprised if there's a followup by the Stringer widow at some point depending on the outcome of said suit. Of course, considering no tests were done on Stringer (or so I've read) looking for ephedra, she'll have a harder time, but if her suit against the league is thrown out, I wouldn't doubt her going for it.

Talk about a shot-gun aproach to Law. Going after the NFL for her husbands death, a class action suit against the owners for the players short career, and throw in the Riddell helmet company for god knows what rounds out this law suit quite nicely.

Question: In one paragraph the article stated that the wife settle out of court. In the next paragraph it said that hear lawyers are apealing the decision.

But, this is my favorite...
What's on trial here is the rules and procedures and the culture" of the NFL, The culture. Why not just bring a class action against the fans for supporting this "Culture"

I hope it does go to trial, because I would love to see the TOX report on an overweight Athlete. The amount of Steroids and diet pills would boggel the mind.
