I was selling my keeper because I though I did not have a chance in my series. Well, then I put up a 60 nsi which is better than the series champion from last year who I play this sunday, so I go to Hattrick and try to buy my keeper back.

1. Thimios Tokatlidis 15 000 US$ (opening price)
No buyer found.

2. Steven Doty 113 000 US$ (Fear of God )
Sold! The buyer pays113 000US$

3. Ismael Lujan 1 000 US$ (Olympiakos Solothurn)
Sold! The buyer pays1 000US$

4. Zach Brooks 1 000 US$ (Olympiakos Solothurn)
Sold! The buyer pays1 000US$

This is what it said--- that I had him. So I go away from the bid area and look at how my form sucks, blah, blah.

Well, I look at my events thing and it says "you received $$$ for the sale of player, etc..."

What happened here? Is IExplorer messed up, or what? Now I have NO keeper on my squad, much less a 2.5 star one. Plus, he was sympathetic, so my TS went down when he sold (though I admit I did not even think of that).

Anyone else ever had this happen/seen this?

You've got 3 days to find a Keeper, you'll be ok.

You got alot of money for him if he was just a 2.5 star keeper. You can now turn around and get someone for $70k. Nice profit.

I know he is a week 1 noob and overpaid quite a bit, and I know I can get a keeper for less, so I make out ok. Maybe I overreacted a bit...maybe.

I was just wondering if this is something I need to be aware of happening alot/alittle/onceinabluemoon? Anyone else have this happen to them, etc...?

I believe they upgraded the bidding process so that the player screen was very accurate and updated bids quicker. However, that is at the expense of the bidding overview page which I've seen being up to $20k behind the player screen.

You have to check out the actual player screen when the bidding comes down to the final wire.

What JHandley said. If I remember the message right, they moved the bidding process to another server so that it mirrors the information but doesn't hit the main server. Unfortunately, it means that the information on the bidding page is supposed to be a bit slower.

Thanks for the info, guys.

Ronnie Dobbs2, your guy says "Speciality: Technical." Does that do anything for a keeper, good or bad?

On several occassions, I have seen the search page display that bidding is over and someone won, but if you look at the player page he is still active. The search listing updates eventually to reflect the new bid but is a bit slow. You always have to doublecheck on the player page now.
