I suddenly don't feel very safe in my series

Ok Richland Bombers and I are the only ones who post in our series conference. Well, he isn't liking the luck train that I'm currently on:

I had a nice little season planned. Concentrate on the Cup, try to get 2 home Cup games, use the 3-4-3 to rack up goals, and only pull away from the pack near the end of the season. Maybe have my 3 forwards be the top 3 strikers this year? Maybe groom my team for the long haul?

So, guess what happens. An unfortunate tie at home to open the season, in which my best striker gets hurt. I'm in 3rd, which is alright, but the Eagles are outsoring me big-time. Because of my slip, I have a special Cup game this week: I'm on the road against a team that is better than mine this season. So I gotta go all out just to hope for ONE home Cup game. And now, the Eagles get the Holy Grail dropped on their heads: a youth team player that they sold for over a million bucks. While I am in (slight) debt from expanding my stadium. Which I can't fill if I can't get to first place.

So, like the kids say, "It's on, b!$@& !" This will be a knock-down, drag-out kinda deal.




FYI: He was the defending champs last season, but due to TS got his ass handed to him in the qualification game.

I do have the most goals in the league beating him by 3. I have 11, he has 8, then 7, 4, 4, 3, and a couple of zeros.

I think it's kinda funny considering I can usually get 5.5* to 6* out of my two forwards combined.

Ok I see the problem. Without his top scorer, his other forwards are the slighty worse then mine. Hehe I feel very evil. :D

Two things: the words "going all out" and "cup game" should never collide unless you are in a double digit round.

Second, the reason you aren't obliterating people is because you are running a 3-4-3. I know that doesn't sound right, but a run-and-shoot 3-5-2 will get you more goals because your possession will be higher.
