After reading your post, I decided to go through my transfer history to see where are my trainees now. Many of them have the exact same value now that they had when I sold them and for some of them that wasn't very high, as I for some time I was selling them just as they popped from inadequate to passable playmaking...

anyway, I also saw some funny ones...

Nope, fired players in your "transfer history" are listed as "fired player". I clicked on my sold players to find those two. My guess is that the team that bought him stopped playing or got kicked out of the game...

The HTs have also had a sense of humor. :) Back in the day when national teams were first introduced they marked Ambient's user page with "First person to lose four games in a week." International friendlies were also fairly new then and there was a bug so that he got to play a friendly and a cup game. So he lost his league game, a cup game, a friendly, and a match for the Norwegian national team. Jonas made everyone knew ;)
