Maybe it's just me, but if your sole responsibility is writing for a pro football resource, wouldn't it be very difficult to misspell both a player's first and last names?

Eagles: Stayley likely traded (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=fanball-eaglesstayleylikelyt&prov=fanball&type=lgns)

According to ESPN’s Len Pasquarelli, the Eagles are interested in trading running back Deuce Stayley once he reports to training camp, which is expected to be this week

The funny thing is that the author repeatedly spells Staley's name incorrectly, but nailed Len Pasquarelli's without a problem.

Actually, the problem is that "Duce" misspells his own name. :rolleyes:

hehe beat me to it. This doesn't excuse the Stayley, but to call Deuce a misspelling is a bit much. It is a nick name isn't it? I guess if his parents acutally named him "Duce", then I guess it would be The correct spelling. Either way not near as bad as misspelling Stayley

duce (duthttp://wordreference.com/images/xbm/s.xbme)
(n) (m) (Storia) (Roman) commander;
(del fascismo) Duce.

Maybe he's just mispronouncing it.

LoL I somehow don't think He was named after Mussolini. I do give you two credit for actually looking it up though.
