OK Got the game this weekend, and am still getting aquainted with it. The interface seems pretty cumbersome, but I just may not have found a way to look at my players the way I want to.

In any case here are my questions

1)Is there a way to look at the individual attributes of say all my running backs at the same time?

2)I saw the form that allowed me to change team names..e.g. Bandits to Raiders. I also saw a form that allowed me to change team city abreviations. What If I want to have the Akron Bandits in my league? How can I change the city names that comprise my league?

3)I got ahead of myself, and created my first league without patching. IIRC I need to recreate after patching to FoF4c. Is that correct?

1.) No. You can put them in order on the roster screen and then use the "next" and "back" buttons to look at all of them without going back to the main roster, but you cannot look at all of their attributes at once.

2.) You have to go to the city that has the bandits and change that city to Akron. Then, it should show up as the Akron Bandits. The weather, geography, size, etc. will still be for the old city, but geography and size does not really affect things like ticket sales as much as you would think it does, so it is easy to make the illusion (My career has all international teams).

3.) I am not sure. Others may know, and it may be on the patch FAQ or readme. If it is not, you can email any technical questions to support AT solecismic.com and they will get back to you.

Welcome to the game.

OK where do I change the name to Akron? Do I go to the city/abbreviation screen and change Oakland to Akron? I tried to change the name on the league display, but was unable to do so. I am guessing that IF this is the way to do it, that is why the Jets are listed as New Jersey, instead of New York. IOW I can't have two New York Teams. If I correctly understand the way this works.

Also in regards to #1. Does that bother anyone but me?

Changing the city names is one of the global options. It is not the same screen as the one on which you can change team names.

As far as #1 goes, it has never bothered me much. You can still compare them pretty quickly. Also, once you begin to have your team for longer, you get to know the players better and do not need to reference their skills as much.
