I just snagged the hex-based Korsun Pocket last night and I am looking for anyone interested in a PBEM game(s).

I just moved, so my DSL is not connected as of yet, but I am just trying to stir up some interest and will use the time to go through the tutorials and whatnot. It is a very complicated game, but it looks like to be a grognards dream.

If you are interested, post here and when I am up-and-running with the internet at home, I will PM for details.

I am hoping this works out to be a regular ordeal, and if we get enough interested, we could have a tournament of sorts for this.

No, I don't need a program for that.

I have a good feeling that this game is going to be on my HD for a long time. The amount of information and options is daunting, and yet, you can start clicking and playing immediately and, over time, delve into the features as needed. Very slick. You will be amazed at the detail that went into this title.

I ran throught the first 5 tutorials, and as usual, became bored and started the main campaign. The Germans are collapsing to the center of the map (well, they are surrounded after all) and I am enjoying learning the interface. Like I said, you don't need to understand all the information and options to start playing, but I can imagine it will help immensely learning what the 1,000 different little icons represent.

If you are a Wargaming grognard, you will enjoy this title.

I used a 10% off coupon to pick up Korsun Pocket and Titans of Steel.

Not that I know when I'm going to have time to actually play the games, but it's fun to buy them.

no shit. I got Kursk 43 for x-mas and it is still in its shipping box, and just ordered Korea 85 and Rzhev 42. there is no way I will get to all of this in any depth.
