Hey everyone,

Today is the first competition match of newly acquired forward, Michael God for the Pittbulls. For reasons of simplicity, we will simply refer to him as God :)

Things are going pretty well already at BC Place, where the Pittbulls are visiting the team they call Vitasoy (sounds like som soy vitamins :) ). Michael Nuttall, the other Michael playnig forward has given the Pittbulls a 1-0 lead in the 5th minute. WOOT!!!

I might not be too present today, as I'm also on IRC (undernet #htcanada is you wanna stop by, especially canadian teams). What is funny is that one of the guys from my league is there too, so I should have fun there...

God played a good match in all, even though his name didn't make it into the match report. He is a technical forward, yet I played him in the pouring rain, mainly because I'm stubborn. Still, he pulled 2.5 stars and combined with Michael Nuttall, they gave me a solid central attack... Not bad.

Next week, we play a team that got crushed today, new team style, posting a disastrous midfield...

In the 9:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as Thomas Pedersen finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The structure of the game started to change as Flailing decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone.

Uggh. Im not having a good day with hattrick. Earlier I finally found a player that I wanted but I ended up in a bidding war with the team the was selling him! I raised him up about 50K in hopes that he would just take the money, but after that I gave up. Very frustrating. Plus it was yet another week with a youth pull that wont get me more than 5K.

Now Im playing one of the top teams in my series and I have missed on about 3 scoring chances so far. Luckily I am still up 1-0 at half while Im away and posession is at 50%. Im just not sure if that lead can hold up.

Fear were given a penalty in the 55:th, neatly put away by Dick Quintana. 5 - 1 for the home side. After this Fear lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts.

This win (unless the Hattrick gods punish me horrifically for assuming 5-1 is safe) will put me, at least for a few weeks, into 2nd place over the team I am beating.

Thought 5th place would be good coming from D.VI.

A marvelous Manhattan effort to the right resulted in a 82nd minute goal by Antoni Vr?ko, putting the score up to 1 - 3. Manhattan´s Vitali Ilmjärv got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge putting the away teams lead down to 2 - 3. Albert Birch put his head to a well placed ball lifted in from the left and scored the 3 - 3 goal in the 85:th minute.

Well, even putting forth a Formidable midfield (jeez...I didn't know my guys had it in them) was not enough to overcome my keeper's Wretched form and my two best players being out due to injury. I lost 5-2 even though I had possession 65 and 62. Sad, sad day.
