FOF4c Bug OT plays QB

I reported earlier I found a bug in FOFC, Here is the condtions required:

I am near or just over the salary cap.
Coaches fill depth charts is not activated
Scouts sign players to fill roster is not activated
There is no 4th QB on the inactive roster


So my 1st string QB is injured.
If I try to sign a new QB the computer nixes it.
If I try to play with two QB's Computrer won't allow it.
So my solution is to activate coaches fill depth chart and scouts fill roster check boxes.

I can then start the game. The depth chart shows no 3rd qb. if you go to the play calling screen and pull down the QB box a 3rd player is listed there by the computer. Last time it was my free safety this time it is an offensive tacke named Michael Narbosa.

You can see from te attached pictures Narbosa is in the pull down screen. I subbed him in to see if he was functional and he threw an incomplete pass. (see 2nd screen shot)

Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone reported this to Jim

i had the cpu team do this when his starting qb got injured in the first quarter.

i didn't note that team's finances, though.

i control everything manually for my team, including playcalling.

I'm trying to imagine Orlando Pace under center, taking snaps, and trying to make a 5 step drop and pass...

It doesn't relly sound like a bug to me. Maybe I am not understanding the situation, but I think what you are saying is you only have two healthy QB's on the squad and you don't have enough money to sign a 3rd one without making cap room. If that is the case who do you think the game should put in there? Granted the game seemingly choosing a 3rd string QB at random may not be what you hoped for, but I am not sure it's a bug considering as far as your scouts are concerned no one left on the roster is qualified to play QB so it might as well pick a random guy.

Couldn't it be a RB, WR, TE, or even P or K? OL's playing QB is about the dumbest idea since Refrigerator Perry was given the chance to play fullback...
