Ping: NCAA 2004 Players

Anyone here tried to 'quick-sim' the first four years so you have real player names? If so, has this affected your job security, etc? I'd like to start a new dynasty, but I find little attachment to players with numbers instead of names, considering I know little about individual players in college ball.

PS - Sorry if this has been answered already, I did a quick search for NCAA and quick sim and got nothing.

I actually simmed thru the 1st 4 years of a Hawaii dynasty when I first got the game, so that I could see some of the sports illustrated features and get my feet wet in handling the new recruiting features. I had no problems with job security as I not only got a contract extension, but was also invited to join the Pac-10.

You should be reasonably ok with quick simming, but I would suggest that you handle your recruiting efforts yourself.

You could sim the first 4 years with one coach and if you get fired just create a new coach.
