The internet is a wonderful thing :)
The stadium is honored after James A. Beaver. He was a lawer in Bellefonte during the outbreak of the civil war. He enlisted and became a second lieutenant in the Union Army. He worked his way up the rank to brigadier general. He was discharged in 1864. He then served as a superior court judge, governor of Pennsylvania, and President of the University Board of Trustees. He was one of the most influntial leaders of the time in the development of Penn State University.

Last night before the Fresno State Oregon State game, one of the local radio stations had a beaver eatting contest;).
Personally I waited till after the game to eat a beaver.

Funny, considering noop backwards is poon. I guess thats some sort of reverse psychology. I find myself daydreaming sometimes, and there he is, just being a horizontal comedian, looking for vertical smiles...
