View Full Version : FOFC Tiger League - Arizona Open
The second largest purse of the season is up for grabs at one of the toughest courses out there. Coyote Bluff Is a very gorgeous course, but there is danger on almost every shot. It plays longer than most courses with many very narrow fairways. It also features one of the most difficult tee shots Ive come across. The tee shot on 15 (I think, you'll know when you see it) is right into a wall of vegetation about 200 yards away. Its unplayable all the way from the top of the wall back to the tee box, with a small drop area in case you dont make it up the wall. The rest of the course is stunning visually, and if you listen carefully as you start down by the bluffs, you might even hear the famed coyotes for which this course is named. The deadline for entries into this 1.2 mill event is Friday. Happy golfing, and remember not to feed the coyotes.

MJ4H, maybe if you make the deadline on sunday night (or even saturday), more people will be able to get in a round. I had to scramble last week to make the time, what with all the school crap (teaching, not studenting) and extra crap to go to, etc... Just a thought.
P.S.- started a practice round. Was kicking some serious golfing ASS. Then I got to #11 and got flustered. Back nine is a bitch.

dola...
Can you put the link to the league site on every thread, or maybe add it as a signature thing. It would expedite some stuff, like looking for the course conditions and such. Thanks.
OK deadline is next Sunday, Sept. 14th.

Played practice round. If you want to win, you BETTER crush the front nine, because on the back nine there are SEVERAL holes where your score can baloon in a hurry (I took an 8 on #11, I think it was- no more tring to short-cut that one, I'd say, or more testing needed.).

Wow. That wasn't even fun. Played a -9 on my last practice round. Thought I was ready. I wasn't.

I agree, it was 'golf in hell.' Didn't listen to my own hint about the back nine and SUFFERED terrible indignities as a result. I am glad that is over.
Can you imagine the shit the pro players would give the PGA if they had to play that course with those greens in dry conditions.

Anyone home?
Sorry, been extraordinarily busy. High School football season hits hard for band directors, too :) Was sick a lot this past week, too. Ill get the results up ASAP.
