I know I should know this but I can't figure it out.

If a team that is replaced has the leading scorer in the league does the #2 scorer get the prize money? Or does no one get it?

No one gets it. This happened to me last season. The top scorer was from a replaced team and I had the #2 scorer and didn't get the $10K.

Whoever owns the leading scorer gets the money. Whether he is traded to another league, owner replaced, whatever.

In this case, since no one owns him, no one gets it.

Well my guy needs 7 goals in two games then. Qualifiers don't count right?

No, the top scorer bonus is paid directly after the last season game in week 14 and well before the qualifier match is played.
