The problem is that when im online and surfing the net. That sometimes when i try to go to a webpage (any webpage) i automatically get sent to some freaking crazy porn site!!

Example: Just now when i tryed to come to this website, it happened. I had to close my browser and do it again.

This has been going on for a few weeks now. I have no idea how it happened. I've scaned my computer with "adware" but it didn't fix it. Now im not sure what to do, Its really frustrating....

Any help would be great!

What program did you use to scan for Adware? None of the programs will get EVERYTHING, so it's good to scan with 2 or 3 different programs, in case it's something the 1st program didn't see.

If you are using Adaware, make sure you click the "check for updates now" option before you run the scan. When fully updated, it usually does a pretty good job of getting rid of most of these things.

Download and install both of these programs. Make sure you update them after installation to get the latest reference files.

Spybot search and destroy: http://spybot.safer-networking.de/

Ad-aware: http://www.lavasoft.de/

I would recommend running a firewall if you aren't already (especially if you are on permenent connection - DSL, cable, etc). It allows you to keep tabs on what programs are trying to access the internet. It is just another defense if you get something malicious on your computer. I use ZoneAlarm (http://www.zonelabs.com)

Thanx Masked.... i already had adware but it was outdated. These 2 programs seemed to do the trick.

And i'll be getting DSL(again) in a couple months so i'll look into getting a firewall also.

Dude your computer is automatically surfing for porn and you're complaining??? As long as it's not gay dudes......SWEET!!!:D

Spybot search and destroy is an excellent spam killing program.
