....at Blockbuster! I am pretty hyped up right now. The story is long so I'll make it short. About 4 years ago I was in a film called "Stricken". Here are some names that appear in the movie; Jamie Kennedy was in all 3 Scream movies (and he was the coolest out of them all), Judy Greer, and Kevin Walls. It did get some theater time on the East and West coasts. After going to some independant film festivles, it finally came out on DVD. WOOOHOO!. I have about 5 minutes of air time and I say one sentence one scene and then a *word* on another scene. If you would like to see it go to your local Blockbuster and look for it. While watching the movie I am in about 3 scenes. Two scenes I am wearing a blue and whit flannel and the other is a party scene and in that scene I am wearing a SoBe tee shirt (black). I was even the one who talked to the director and conviced him that the camera following me during the party scene was a good idea.....so if you see that part,....thats me! Blond hair and a bit on the skinny side (back then :( ) .

Thought so. Maximus is actually Vulcan. (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12709&highlight=stricken+AND+kennedy)

If I'm not mistaken, you might be headed for permanent ban territory after all of this. If I were you I'd straighten up and fly right, young man.

But congrats on your movie appearance.

Sheesh, vulcan, I had the exact same thought when I read your post as NoMyths. Why would you post under another name like that when you know you'll be discoVERED?

NoMyths, you really live in Charleston.

I'm moving down there this summer to find a job (barring a perfect LSAT score), know of anyplace to live and work?

Great guys. I think that SkyDog is aware that vulcan is maximus, and he wanted to keep it low profile because he wanted to start over after some things (he told me but not sure how much privacy he wants/still has). Give him abreak, he's not doing anything wrong.

Hey, it's not our fault he posted the same info under a different alias...I could have sworn I read the exact same post earlier this year, which threw me since "Maximus" (who's posted have seemed a bit odd anyway) is so new.

Being as how Vulcan is currently on suspension, he's not supposed to be doing anything at all, let alone wrong.

vulcan was only under a temporary suspension as a person (Not the name), so he is allowed to post, from what I am aware of.

Work here is actually pretty difficult to find...poor economy. But I doubt you'd have too much trouble finding housing, although for only a summer you might have a problem. If you do make it down, let me know and we'll get a beer.

Opps, I forgot that I posted that. Well, now everybody knows again! Oh well. I might as well share the story as to why all that has happend. Don't worry...Skydog knows the truth and he has completly forgiven what I did. He knows who I am.

OK, as far as the Stricken movie, they now has a new version in which there are "featured shot". In this version they have some back stage shots. I am in one of them. The one I have mentioned before is still at blockbuster but the new one is called editors version. Pick it up. Its pretty cool (well, the movie sucked but oh well). I like the new version of the movie so ask for that one instead.

Oh, I'll be there for at least 3 years, maybe I can get into the new law school there... its only going to be like 30K a year. But yeah... hmm a good job. I think my stepmom knows some people at the insurance firm she works had, so I think she can hook me up.

But beer sounds good. I should be down there Dec 15th and a few days around there. I'll have to remember to get in touch.

I respect you ChiefRum. Believe me, there were some reasons as to way that all happend. Skydog as well as some others know the truth. I will post it some day but not right now. Was I wrong...yes. Was I being childish....a BIG yes. Were there reasons for me to do that....yes. To be honest, I wasn't trying to spam the board nor was I really trying to keep a double profile but I answered my own post so that "other people" would think vulcan was gone.....

In fact, I kinda consider everyone I see on this board like a family, so to speak. Skydog, he really helped me out. He was kind enough to tal to me (via email) and took every word I wrote to heart. I appreciated that from him. There were other that I had talked/wrote to as well but I will not mention names because I am not sure if they would wnat that. Believe me guys, I respect this board and EVERYONE on it. I never meant to disobey the rules.....never.

I think this will be the last post on this subject because it defeats the purpose as to why I tried to do it in the first place. But Skydog already knows. Vulcan is on suspension...permanently.I made it that way....thats the way I want it.

I strongly suspected Vulcan=Maximus from the .400 boards and his choice of avatars as well as his writing style. I also suspected that he was doing so here as well. So what. As long as he isn't posting as Vulcan or some other alternate and using Maximus in the same threads to support his view point, I don't see anything wrong. However, purely from a curiosity standpoint I liked seeing my suspicion confirmed. Good detective work.

Quit being a kiss ass. Respect EVERYONE? Give me a break. There are a lot of people I respect on this board. There are also people on this board who I have ZERO respect for. You sir, are one of them.

I appreciate you coming back with your hat in your hands, but lay off the wussy kiss up stuff.

Oh, and if you just lost all respect for me, that's ok, but at least tell the truth.

P.S. Sorry if I'm being harsh, but for some reason that just struck a nerve.

I was aware of the whole Maximus situation as well and can understand why he would want to re-invent himself after the whole double identity issue. I really don't think that it was necessary for him to inform everyone about his decision as long as the higher-ups were made aware of what was going on. There doesn't appear to be any intentional misgivings on his part and it probably shouldn’t be held against him for the most part. On the other hand if you want to hold anything that he has done in the past against him, as many may do, then that would be your prerogative.

No actually I am couriers and I can pretty much relate to his wanting a new identity on this board, just as several other members probably could as well.

Although, I never created multiple egos and had conversations with myself. At least not that anyone else could hear at any rate. :)

You shouldn't have let that out. It is much more fun having people try and figure it out. (I had. :)).

This is a cool board and all, and I really like all of the information about Jim's games. But all this creating multiple identities and trying to make people think that your previous identity had left. You really need lives.

Very true. However I wasn't trying to hide behind a new identity, which should be rather evident by my profile as well as my most recent posts on various boards, and figured that since we were on the subject that now was as good of time as any to mention it. I simply created this new user name since the old one was retired and I didn't know whether it would be too much trouble for SkyDog to go about bringing it back into play. This was the easiest option available and was reliant only on myself to accomplish what was necessary to start posting again.

This new identity has nothing to do with not having a life. That would be a whole other issue all together. At least that is what my shrink tells me.

You can write "fried twinkies" on a bag of shit and sell it at the State Fair. That doesn't change the fact that you will get hunted down and beaten by the hoardes of fried twinkies fans that unwittingly bought a bag of shit.

That's what my granny told me, anyway...

I'll admit that I've thought about dropping kcchief and adopting a new name from time to time, I always hit myself over the head and say, "Don't be such as loser!"

Hey, I know there are people here who don't like me or don't think much of me for thoughts or views I've expressed. Happens online, happens in real life. I'm probably much more likable in real-life than I am online, because I'm much more reserved in peson. But if people don't like me, who cares, because many of them do.

If having people dislike you bothers you, you either need to develop stronger self-confidence and self-respect or stop doing things that make people dislike you. I can appreciate someone who wants to start anew after making mistakes, but needing to runaway from an online personna smacks of desperation for attention.

In the end, I see few legitimate reasons for people to use an alias. Over at RWBL, some owners have an alias so they can write about the league away from the perspective as a team owner. That is fine and actually works very well. But creating a different identity for a different computer or to hide just seems lazy and/or sad.

Creating a different identity because you don't think a few people will like you would be a bad thing to do. If people don't respect you because they don't always agree with you, well, thats pretty stupid.

Or you could just do as I do and call everyone who disagrees an f'in idiot. You'll feel a lot better :D
