That's great, Jim. But that won't be necessary - with my editor, it's possible to copy the entire content of a draft file to Excel just like that. Just select the whole sheet, Ctrl-C, switch to Excel, Ctrl-P. See the attached file, should take me about an hour to do all 30 of them.
OK, the hour has passed and I have a ZIP file with 33 Excel files with each draft from 1970 to 2003 (linked below). We don't have the FOF2004 draft file generator yet, but we can do an audit of the files and eliminate spelling errors (no more updating of *.dll files, yay!), and some other mistakes, like players born twenty years earlier (in the 90s) or twenty years later (in the 70s).
