Riley Steps Down

Pat Riley stepped down supposedly due to health issues. As a Knicks fan, I always had a fond place in my heart for him even though he bailed on us, so I hope it's not that serious.

Apparently it's not health related. Just felt it was time. Unusual timing though, just a week before the season starts.

I remember there used to be some coach named Pat Riley who was some kind of basketball genuis or something. Anyone know if this guy is related?
