I think GT is overrated from two good games. They are still a three loss team right now, right? They did have to take Vandy to overtime, right? They did lose 11 players, mostly starters, off the team right before the season started, right?
I think the FSU game for GT came from the enouragement they got off the Auburn game. They lost that game because they lacked depth. They then came crashing back to reality against Clemson. They can pull an occasional upset, but they are going to need breaks to make a bowl this year. They have good coaching but are paper thin.
I never said I thought they were over-rated in the preseason. They obviuosly over-performed from there. They became overrated after the Auburn/FSU games. People greatly inflated their expectations of GT, and the Clemson game burst the bubble. Like I said in my post, they lack depth. They may be able to pull an upset, but they are going to be lucky to make a bowl.
Still feel this way?
That annual get together on November 29 may be a third tough game UGA has to get over before the SEC Championship game and the BCS.
