Ok everyone what makes a wedding fun? I just went to a wedding where the food was good, the people were drinking and there was plenty of young people(20-30). The DJ sucked and all in all the night was boring.
So I am wondering what makes a wedding fun for YOU? I am getting married in 2 weeks(Nov. 8th) and I want to know if people enjoy certain things over others. At this paticular wedding I attended, everyone I talked to was bored. But no one could say exactly "why".

1. A good DJ can make all the difference in the world.
2. A lot of alcohol and driving/sleeping accomodations for the guests if all else fails.
3. Proper seating arrangements. Don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings. Seat the people who you think will enjoy each other's company the most.

The bachelor party the night before.
6 friends, $15,0000 in cash, and a suite at the MGM Grand.
Hell, I would get married all over again.

Already did my bachelor party..........way early.......went to the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game(38-0 ya damn Irish, GO BLUE), tailgated the whole time, then went to watch a boxing match at my friends house. Basically drank constantly for 12 hours.
The seating arrangements were something I hadnt considered in terms of having a good time. But it makes ALOT of sense. I was stuck at the snobby table. My fiance is a nurse but one who is considered a "good nurse". We had alot of stuffy old nurses. So we werent at the Drs. table but we also werent at the fun nurses table.
I am doing the seating charts tomorrow. I will have to make sure we have some fun tables. 65 family members, 60 work members. All we want is people to have a good time. Oh and my fiance to get through her vows(we are doing our own) without totally breaking down.
