I'm having some fun with TCY right now, much more than I have ever have before and I have a couple of questions for you guys :

Q1- How do you improve your prestige ?
is that by winning more & more games, by playing in Bowls..and eventually winning them ?

Q2- What happens if I have, as it is the case on my roster currently: one ILB and five OLB...does the game fills the holes at ILB with OLB or IF the OLBs are MUCH better than the one ILB : does it replaces him right off the bat ?

Q2 expanded
or : can I do that myself and it is fine ? I mean, am I not going to "lose to much" if I place an OLB within the ILB's slot ?

Thanks for your inputs.

All of the above.

Q2- What happens if I have, as it is the case on my roster currently: one ILB and five OLB...does the game fills the holes at ILB with OLB or IF the OLBs are MUCH better than the one ILB : does it replaces him right off the bat ?

I believe the ILB will start by default, and backups will be OLB's - not sure though.

No, you won't lose too much performance if you move an OLB to ILB (though it is tough to measure empirically).

Thanks for your inputs.

No problem.:)

Yup. Winning games in general, bowl games in particular, and beating your rival.

Q2- What happens if I have, as it is the case on my roster currently: one ILB and five OLB...does the game fills the holes at ILB with OLB or IF the OLBs are MUCH better than the one ILB : does it replaces him right off the bat ?

No, you will get non-recruited walk-ons. They aren't very good, and they generally hurt your academics as well.

Q2 expanded
or : can I do that myself and it is fine ? I mean, am I not going to "lose to much" if I place an OLB within the ILB's slot ?

You can put an OLB there in the depth chart, without much penalty.

I may have misunderstood Q2. Yes, ILB will start by default, no matter how bad he is, AND you will gain a walk-on or two that week.

Yea', I think the second part of my answer was wrong. The ILB will automatically start, but the backups will be walk-ons, NOT other OLB's.

Darkiller,

Always be aware of the number of athletes at each position, and try to make sure that you're adequately stocked (to avoid the dreaded talentless walk-on with poor academics). Even if you don't have depth with scholarship athletes, at the end of the recruiting season invite a couple of high academic walk-ons so you won't get penalized with the idiots walking on mid-season.
