yeah!!!!
all three guys coming into the new divison i "might" promote to from divison V are better then me!!!! 1 of them is WAY WAY better then me!!! Plus the 3 guys left in the divison are all better then me!!!!
So if i win my qualifier i'll be the 6th or 7th best team in my divison!!!

Put your best team out on Sunday and Mots. At the beginning of this season, I looked to be the 7th or 8th best team in my series.

i broke it down some in my dynasty.... im basically screwed if i go to that divison.
Lever warned me in my guestbook how tough that divison is gonna be next season. He wasn't lying.....

Look, im not saying that im gonna throw the game. I probally won't, im just worried thats all. I freaking hate losing in anything i do and now i have a choice to go to a divison and lose a whole bunch or stay in a divison and win a whole bunch.

According to Hatstats, I'm going to IV.15. Looks tough. I don't think I can do better than 4th place in that series right now.

Dola... IV.15 is the 14th toughest series in Div. IV right now. :( Not as tough as IV.25, where my buddy Nyarlahotep is headed, though.... Good thing he's better than I am. ;)

I have a similar situation as Havok, but I've already made my decision: I'm going to try to win my qualifier. Because of my fortunate circumstance I'll be happy regardless of the final score. Here are my two potential outcomes:
If I win my qualifier I stay in the 17th most difficult Div IV series, which has several active (in a press announcement sense) owners. The best team, Stefsalot's Crushers (avg NSI=83), will be promoting and replaced by a much more manageable opponent (avg NSI=73), while the two worst teams were not very interactive and won't be missed.
But if I lose my qualifier I get to demote to the 196th most, erm, "difficult" Div V series. I'd lose supporters and sponsor money, but I'd be all but guaranteed to dominate the series. This would allow me to PIC a bit more and perhaps go a bit further in the Cup.
So, I'll be happy come Sunday, regardless.

I'm too lazy to do a search but I remember kristen posting about her serie rival tanking his game so she could win the serie because he didn't want to promote yet, remember your reaction? I remember when Ardent was annoyed that Ghetto Superstars didn't want to promote, remember your reaction? I remember QS' thread last year where a couple of people pondered the virtue of promoting, remember your reaction?
You know me well enough to know I'm not ripping you for anything. Just pointing this out 'cuz, y'know, walking a few yards in somebody else's shoes sometimes gives you a different perspective.

I know I'm going to run a system of counter attacks and pressing next season. Maybe pick a fight or two and AIM it.

Thats the plan AE, pick a few i got a shot at winning and going for it. Throw them a curveball like AIM or AOW and play my forward with passable PM defensive.

Ahem, speaking for counter attacks and pressing, I think it may give me an opportunity or two to win a game I may not normally have a shot in.
I actually view my D3 promotion as a challenge, and the rest of the teams in my series better be afraid!

Just remember Havok the BoB was able to get thru the division in one year, it shouldn't be hard for someone who knows what he is doing. ;)
