At what level of training do you usually sell your forwards to get maximum profit?

to get the most profit from training forwards take a look at my training guide at www.ghettosuperstars.tk

i try to buy young trainees around excellent and sell them around brilliant or magnificent, but probably more importantly then skill is age. I buy them around 17/18, train them for 2 seasons, and sell them around 19/20.

17yo's are too pricey early in a season (for a training program geared towards profit) so i try to look for 18yo's unless its later in the season which is when i look for 17yo's who are priced more reasonably. If you have a solid coach you can usually get an excellent 17/18yo to brilliant or higher by the time he's 20. If they are popular or sympathetic i will try to sell them at 19 near the end of a season (week 14-16) when teams do most of their shopping and so that if my TS is affected it will reset anyway when the new season starts. Otherwise i may train them for part of a season at 20, but trainees that are 20 or older take much longer to increase skill and its usually more efficient (if you are looking to make the most profit) to sell them and buy a younger guy who will train faster.

For example i have a 19yo who hit magnificent recently but since he is "controversial" and i can sell him in the middle of a season without hurting my TS, i decided to get him to world class before i sell him, but I rarely train them this long.

In short, to get the most profit from your training program, considering age is really more important then their skill level. Hope that helps :) again check out my training program I've been told its very well written and i know several successful teams who use the same principals in their training programs.

Ok, thanks a lot for the advice. I'm still in the early stages of developing my program, right now my youngsters are just solids, they will be 18, 19, 19 next year, and have been solids for a decent time, so I'm hoping to get them to formidable by the end of next year, at which point I will probably sell the older guys I have on the team now and move the two older ones up to my A squad and sell the youngest, and then start over with the intentions of selling all 3.

yep get rid of the old guys and get younger ones. as i said age is more important then skill level if you want to build your economy and training program.

buy solid, passable, or even inadequate scorers if thats all you can afford, as long as they are young. buy them at 17 or 18 and train them for 2 seasons. if you are training 6 forwards you can buy/sell 3 each season which is what i try to do.

if you bought a passable 17yo you could train him for 2 seasons and sell him at outstanding, buy an excellent 17/18yo replacement and still have 1mil+ to play with :) then that excellent trainee can be sold 2 seasons later at magnificent for 4 mil or more :D

It seems to be the consensus that the best dollar per training time seems to be around magnificent or brilliant. If you want to optimize your $ you should sell them then.
