So is the QOTM really gone?

I am still a newcomer here, but I really enjoyed the QOTM feature. Is this dead for good? Would it be possible to clean up the offensive entries, and reinstitute the QOTM? Perhaps have the QOTM moderator be more of an arbiter of quality? I mean a good number of the quotes were genuinely funny. Who hasn't chuckled at Fritz's SUV quote, or even Marmel's purple vibrator. I like the feature, although I do agree with the growing number of folks who think it has gotten out of hand.

If you want someone to prune the off color entries from the DB, I would volunteer.

I liked all of the quotes save for Fritz'. They were too fucking vulgar and contained XXX-style pick-up lines when read backwards.

I guess they don't want to scare new users with stuff at the top of the page. Anywhere else is fine though. Makes lots of sense.

Maybe we ought to have one theme that still includes QOTM in it's raunchiest form.
