Now that we can save & import/export Game Plans, that had me thinking of one thing :

I'd love to see the possibility to save & import/export franchise rosters in the game !

So let's say I have my 2011 49er roster with legendary QB Brock Sheriff at the helm...and I want to save that one roster for the futur.
Then, I can make a "battle of the champions" (it's an example) importing that 2011 49er roster, and simulating a game versus the 2036 49er roster who happened to be really good as well and I want to know "which of these two teams is THE better one".

things like this...
or
"can you send me your 2058 Bengals roster with that huge Hall of Fame RB of yours please ?", "I'd love to see how their would fare in my own league.."

This would really be a great thing to have somewhere down the line. While running our own careers it would be possible to occasionally have an exhibition against someone else's team.

A tournament of FOF's greatest ever teams would be an interesting thought...

Yep. That would be cool. I'm not for multi-player in the least, but a tournament where each player submits the best roster they have assembled over their careers would be cool as hell.

I had the exact same suggestion back in 1/22/99. If I remember correct, I had just recovered from my 2 week binge of partying like it was 1999. Stupid Prince.

Looks like it's the only suggestion to not become reality. Hopefully it will be some day.

OOTP has this feature, right? I mean, I never use it...but it'd be cool nonetheless.

Question regarding game plans...

From the screenshots, it seemed the the game plan save/load was for both offense AND defense. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the saving and loading of gameplans include the granularity of either offense or defense?

That is a very cool idea! I'd love to have games between the best teams of each era.

I agree. It's a little counterintuitive to load offense and defense together.

Although it won't be that hard after a little while of setting up some redundant plans, it would just make more sense to load them each on their own.

Exactly. It would be much easier to just have the option of either importing/exporting them as one, or separte. Something to consider for a future patch/version.
