I posted a thread a couple weeks ago, but now that the game has been out for 2 weeks, I was wondering if anybody here is playing the game.
If so, is it better than Battlefield 1942?? I play that game online almost every night and it is a blast to play against others.
Anybody playing Call of Duty? All the reviews are saying that it is WWII FPS GAME OF THE YEAR.
WOW! Is it that good?

I've been playing it quite a bit. It is all that and a side of hash browns... :)
The graphics are incredible, and the gameplay is very good. The only downside I see while playing is that some of the scenarios seem a little TOO scripted. Like in the on one of the Soviet levels, there are mortars and bullets flying all around, but if you are going in the direction you are supposed to go, you never get injured. But go another route, and you get cut down almost instantly. The only game I've played where I haven't felt that was Operation Flashpoint.
I haven't tried online play yet, but plan to do so soon. The game is well worth a try. I've been having a blast with it.

Three day later dola....
I was shocked about how short the single player game was. I played for an hours or so every night for a week, and finished. The game is incredible, but could be even better with some longer levels, or more levels. I guess they are joining the "Expansion Pack" bandwagon.
I'll have to see if the multiplayer part grows on me at all.

Played it, loved it, beat it...all too short. But while it lasted...very nice
