It probably slows down other web activity at least a bit as it's downloading video.

Yup. It was cool for about two days. After that it was simply annoying. Deleted it about a month and a half ago...

Well, I keep it around. I agree that, on average, it is more a nuisance than a benefit. Once I move back to the states, I'll get rid. For the moment it's a good way to see some US professional sports highlights, which is hard to do 'round these here parts.

I'm proud to say I never downloaded/activated it. Overall, I find myself going to ESPN.com less and less these days.

I'm going to do it as well, right now. I thought about it for awhile, but really thinking about it, its like a minute segment, then a commercial, then another minute segment. Nothing too exciting, and the highlights are accessable without Motion.

I've found that I'm starting to like cnnsi.com a lot better than espn these days.

Stop the non-sense. ESPN.COM is still king. Granted, it's good to supplement it with some other sites (local team info + TSN.CA/NHL) every now and then, but it still has the most accessible layout, easy to find things, good box scores, all the good information, etc. (then again, it's probably just because I'm used to it). I have plenty of incentive to look at CNNSI and CBSSPORTSLINE (members of the family work for each), but I just never do. Still, no reason to leave the king, baby.

yes, its the king...when you can get it to load.

since i deleted Motion ive found myself slowly checking the site more often (yes, in the last 6 hrs or so...its a slow day....stop staring at me).

if i were ESPN, id rethink the whole motion concept.

It was cool for about a day, then it just got really annoying. I uninstalled it several months ago
