That's the hot ticket I have. The game starts at 12:10 and as a loyal Hoosier I will again be dragging my ass down to Memorial stadium and watching our 'wonderful' football team. The hoosiers are 1-8 this year and the Illini are 1-9. I think were finally going to win one!!!!

Minnesota - Wisconsin should be better.

Nope that's gonna be Illinois' only other win this year.

Sigh....and it's not like there's a good draft pick coming out of this horribel season. :(

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! We did win. The 17 -14 IU win happened with Matt Lovechio (former Notre Dame QB) running for like a 9 yard run with 24 seconds left to go. It was so damn cold but well worth it :-D

Tucker, what is with your Hawkeyes today? It is too early to start taunting, but this is a serious question.

I don't know... We played like shit.

I'm going to be very happy when Chandler graduates.

Congrats to Purdue!

Fish and I are both IU grads (and native to the area). He's based out of Indianapolis now, while I do computer programming for the dreaded Office of the Registrar at the university.

So if your grades are wrong, chances are it was one of my programs that fucked them up. :)

Hi Indy guys, we are running a TCY Village Challenge Dynasty => go check the Dynasty boards. We are into season 2041 and believe it or not, our superb WR Herb Betram was League MVP last season.

Take Care

I'm a former IU student too :)

Used to work at Big Red, the one on the East side and the orignal one just south of the 'Super Market' Big Red. We used to trade beef jerkey to the hot dog guy outside Killroys. It may sound minor, but when that waiting line to get in was 15 minutes long, and you can make your move on the hot chicks in line in front of you with free weiners, well. . . :)

Does it strike anyone as patently absurd that in that 12:00 timeslot I could watch four, count 'em, FOUR Big Ten games simultaneously? Including the grand suckfest that was Illinois-Indiana? Oh, and the fifth Big Ten game would come on at 3:30? The only reason Michigan wasn't on TV Saturday was because they had the week off.

Can anybody stop the Hoosiers?!? ;)

Wolfpack, the game was actually pretty decent. I actually watched it(I was there), did you? I know the teams sucked but when too equally suck teams combine you can get a pretty good game (Unlike in the NFL).

Apparently not Illinois. :( Hey but at least they were able to beat a D-1AA team! Yeah, feeling good about that one. ;)

I went to the game last year and watched Illinois beat up on Indy. Paybacks a bitch aint it? ;)

Nah, didn't watch it in entirety, though I did flip to check the score occassionally. I love college football enough that I can watch just about any game for a period of time (it drives my wife nuts), even though the games I most care about (ACC) I can't get here in Michigan. I have to compensate somehow. I'm going to be a stark, raving, nervous wreck Saturday afternoon as NC State takes on FSU at 3:30 which will of course be only on in the Southeast and I'll have to suffer through each turn of the ticker at the bottom of the screen much as I did two years ago when they beat FSU in Tally. Unless, of course, FSU whips State early and often. This isn't even taking into account that the above may not matter if my child chose that day to be born.

I was merely bitching because I think the Big Ten gets inordinate amounts of air time because of ESPN and ESPN2, who hardly seem to care than anyone else plays football at noon elsewhere in the country. I've never known any other conference to get four games to air simultaneously in its home region and getting two national games on cable each week (with occassional exceptions like Air Force-Utah a week or two ago) regardless of what local network affiliates are showing.

Wolfpack, where in Michigan are you? If you are in Detroit I can give you some info on places to go catch games from outside the region.

Ah, it's good to see more IU representatives around. I lived in Bloomington for 25+ years and went to school there, graduating in '98. I have only been to two football games this year (ISU and KU in the early part of the season), but I am making a trip to Happy Valley for the Penn St. game this weekend.

I've visited every Big Red store in the city. I probably financed their west side store with all of our late night runs. I need to get back down to B-Town soon to hit all the great night spots. Yogi's was always one of my favorite bars...
