Did anyone catch the eclipse last night? I think it was the clearest I have ever seen, it was very clear even from our fairly well-lit neighborhood. From our location, it looked a little bit brown, but I understand that can vary place to place.
Here's a link (http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/space/11/08/lunar.eclipse.ap/index.html) for more info. Good look!

Yeah, I checked it out as well, very cool, I don't think I had ever actually seen one personally, so it made for some good viewing.

I saw it. Since I live in Wisconsin. :)

Yep, One of the nice things about living in the middle of no where.. no street lights, house lights, etc.. so star gazing, or events like this are great fun at my house..
Such ashame it was around 20 degrees though.

Saw the one earlier this year, but was in a casino the entire time last night.

We had bad weather in Jacksonville (where I am this weekend). Didn't see anything until after 10pm, and that point, it just looked like a regular quarter moon. Nothing spectacular at all.

Saw it well last night. In fact, we had the whole family in the living room with the lights out for a little Astronomy lesson. The best that I have seen.
It was the second lunar eclipse I've seen. It was a great view of it...looked like a lifeless rock sitting in the sky...which I guess it is anyway.

I wanted to check it out, but it was cloudy.

There's probably a moral parable in there somewhere, but I like to gamble, too, so I ain't gonna say it. ;)

took my son out to see it while we were at dinner. after we came back in, he promptly told our waitress we just saw paper clips of the moon.

Was cloudy here, but luckily not the part of the sky where the moon was.

Was it that I should be working on a Weather Dominator(TM) so that I never have clouds again during an eclipse? If that wasn't it, then perhaps I've taken the wrong motivation to start my career of cartoonish supervillainy.

You're on the right track, SI. If I were you, I would have started work on a big sun shield to blot out the sun, so that the whole town would be forced to use power from my nuclear plant.
That, or you could hook up with Scorpio. He runs the eastern seaboard.

It was a clear night where I was in Central Florida. Plus, I was at a camp in a remote part, so very little light pollution to deal with. It had a definite reddish tint. Pretty cool!

Cool stuff. I was playing outside with my son in front of our house. Crystal clear night here. Watched it for about an hour. Son kept saying, "Moon gone!"
