So I am waiting in a hotel room with my wfie and 2 kids. Been there a month, going stir crazy.
Finally, there is good news! Our townhouse is ready for move in, we begin to gather all of our belongings....not much as a majority of our things are still on a ship in the Atlantic somewhere coming back from Turkey.
Then, there is bad news....Jim has a family emergency. Weeks of checking the FOFC almost hourly on hold? What am I going to do??? Naturally, I am concerned about Jim's family and don't want my silly addiction to a new release from Solecismic to take precedence.....but how long will the wait be now? I don't know, probably just a week delay.
Friday, we move into the new house...it's empty. I had called Bell South and ensured they would start my phone service on Friday...DSL would start on Monday. My wife reports that while I was at work, the phone worked great! I come home and there is no dial tone.....what the hell, how will I check the FOFC????
I find that the line coming into the house is working, but the switch block that leads to all the different connections in the house has died...the junction box is in my tiny, cramped laundry room under the stairs.
So I sit here, typing this, checking on FOF2004 from a room not much larger than a crawl space under my stairs, with no room to move. The Demo is out, I hope it's not too big to download!
Hey wait...I think one of my kids is calling for me, but I can't hear their muffled voices over the sound of the wash cycle....oh well, FOF2004's demo is here! Time to get to reading... :)
