Special Teams in FOF2k4

Is it worth going after the best free agents with decent ratings but good ratings in Special teams? How much will this effect your teams' ability to stop the other team from returning punts or help your returners succeed? Also, in the demo you cant sort CB by Special teams ratings when recommending a player. Am I missing something?

I think it's impossible to say how much it would affect your special teams play. Since special teams players if FOF are mostly backups, signing a backup who is strong in special teams over a similar player who is weak in special teams will be a bonus, and now that you can specify gunners maybe they have more of an impact that in previous versions. But I think in FOF as in real life a player's special teams ability is always a secondary consideration.
