The 2020 and 2021 Jacksonville Cougars made FOF history at the the Strait8 hiousehold when they completed two back to back unbeaten seasons. I have had one unbeaten season every 25 seasons or so in the past. I have never had two in a row.
On a team scale they topped the league in rushing and passing per game with 154 yds and 355 yds/ game. They scored 34.8 points a game and allowed only 13.7. They had a +20 takeaway advantage.
The undoubted star of the team is QB Andre Brandon a maxed out franchise QB in his 7th year from Texas started only 11 games this year (injury) but had a 126.4 QB rating with 30 TD's and 4 Int's. He added 335 yds rushig
Incredibly his back up Mark Dodge in the 5 games he started and had a QB rating of 121.2 with 13 TD's and 2 Int's.
At Running Back Calvin Young gained 1240 yds on the ground and 368 by the pass.
At receiver the teams only All_pro in the last two years is Charles O'Grady at TE wwho led the league in TE yardage and catches. Anoter rising star is second year receiver Roderick Christman who caght 1240 yds in passing and chipped in another 740 in KO returns.
Defensuvely there have been no All-pro's but Chad Gaylor a CB did intercept 7 passes this year. The defensive line is solid with two players getting seven sacks while 4 others had 4-6 sacks.
This an incredibly solid team. I have two offensive lineman including G Dan Southrey the best rated lineman in the league become free agents. I am franchising Southrey but will lose my center as I cna't afford both. I also have three other highly rated players who are int heir final year and only 28 mill under the cap.
And just in case any one asks. I did this on fast sim with adjustments from game to game.
