Do you guys think it will happen tonight, tomorrow, Friday, what? What time? Didn't FOF4 come out at like 3 in the morning or some crazy time like that?
I myself am hoping it comes out tomorrow at like noon, so I have all day to play when I get home. :)

sometime after midnight on Friday. If not by then, maybe sometime late Sunday night. I'd like it to be within the next couple minutes, but I'm not holding out hope! :)

I was wondering when a thread like this would start :)
I keep checking the Solecismic web site, but for some reason it doesn't seem to help - the game STILL hasn't been released yet. Go figure!

I won't predict the date, but whenever the date is, it'll be released at the precise moment I fall asleep

Friday would be the perfect day, to be able to play over the weekend.

My realistic guess is it will be released minutes before a user on FOFC posts a thread about it, in which Jim beat him to it a minute before that.

Early this week he changed the solecismic website to say:
"Next week, we plan to release Front Office Football 2004, a brand new version of our flagship product."
So I've been assuming Monday 11/17 or soon after that.

I didn't see that. Is that message before or after he posted that he was going to release it mid-to-late this week?

This makes me think of a good fable: paraphrased One day a little boy met an old man and told him that his brother wouldn't let him go with him to the movies until he was ten. The old man gave him a ball of yarn and told him that the yarn represented his life. The more yarn he pulled out, the faster his life would go. So the little boy pulled out enough yarn so he was ten, and bam! he could go to the movies with his brother. Pretty soon, he wanted to drive a car, and so he pulled out some more yarn, and he turned sixteen. He then wanted to go to college, and pulled out some more yarn. Wanting to graduate from college and get married, he pulled some more. Not wanting to wait for his kids to be born, he pulled some more yarn. Finally, he wanted to retire, and he yanked out almost all of the yarn. He then became an old man, and wondered where his life went. The old man who gave him the yarn then appeared and the little boy (old man) asked him, "where did my life go?" The old man gave him another ball of yarn and told him he could go back to being a little boy, but he would be unable to ever speed up time. The "old man" agreed, and became a little boy again. Moral: Enjoy the time you have now, because if you keep wishing for the future, you won't enjoy the present.
i.e. enjoy FOF4, and FOF2004 will eventually come out!!! :)

I woke up in the middle of the night (around 1:30a) and checked to see if it had been released.
I wonder if I would have downloaded on the spot and started playing if it had...

I got up to take a whizz around 2:15am and wandered into my home office to check. I was totally sleepy and out of it, but I'm guessing I would have downloaded on the spot and started playing.

I would have alteast d/l it and probably could not resist the temptation to start playing and would probably still be playing and checking things out.
