As of a few minutes ago, I hadn't been given my next team, though I expect it will only be a slightly larger challenge than tonight's 10-0 win over a d6 bot team...

crap, crap, crap, crap!!! Round 2 isn't where it'll get easy!

Won 4-2 tonight against a human team that gave me a hard time. I had only 54 and 58% possession and here are the ratings both teams got tonight.

Hellfish FC

Right Side Defence: weak
Central Defence: inadequate
Left Side Defence: inadequate
Right Side Attack: excellent

Left Side Attack: passable

May be because he played his starters and this is the best it'll get for him, but still, no walk in the park... Oh yeah, we'll play at his place, at least we should have a good crowd as he just promoted to IV and has a 30000 seats stadium that he just upgraded from 23000, at which size he used to sell out at the end of the season...

After dispatching the Minnesota Vykings, the Penguins now face the mighty Utah Vikings! Atleast I don't think this team plays the OTHER football...

Got a human-controlled winner of a VI series. That's it for bad news.

Good news 1: They suck, typically get a wretched midfield, got smoked in their qualifier something like 9 - 1, and most (all?) of the players were under two stars in their last league match.

Good news 2: It's a derby! BBFC pulled a poor midfield PICing on the road this week, and the derby should put us up to weak. Two levels of midfield with good attack and defense ratings (I pulled a formidable central attack in the game today) should mean a blowout.

They're taking out their divine retribution on you. Face it- Vikings and Penguins are mortal enemies. Always have been, always will be. :p

I narrowly averted disaster tonight. I was down 1-0... before scoring 8 unanswered goals. I'm telling them- karma coming back to bite them for calling a team in Mississippi the Samurais. We don't get cursed because there are Hippos in the Houston Zoo and next week, we play the New Mexico Panthers. I'm pretty sure there are Panthers running wild in New Mexico so maybe that will give them the edge. Then again, probably not when their wretched midfield hits our inadequate (when PIC'd).

PIC with the backups won 5-1... should be a touch harder next game... but i should still win easy.

Another bot. Only won 3-0 tonight despite playing the 2-5-3 and dominating my opponent though. Stupid coach pulled back up 2-0.

i got a human team that was just promoted from vi via qualification with a wretched midfield. shouldnt be a problem.
better news is since i am in vi and he is seeded higher than me, i get home field advantage :)
