Windows XP Home, FOF installed to default directory. I am getting the following when trying to access the help files. The help file is present in the main FOF2K4 directory and I can get to it manually, but this is not working correctly on my game...

this was happening in the demo too. I'm sure it will be fixed very soon.

I didn't have that problem with the Demo... was using a machine with Win 98 I think.

Because Jim updated the demo shortly after with a fix.

not bitching, just providing feedback for patch #1.

If it is the demo, download again.

If it is the real game, if you license it you should be fine.

If it's the same problem as with the early demo then you need to copy the help file and rename it so that you have both FrFoot4.hlp and FrFoot2004.hlp. There were calls to both which meant that even if you manually searched to the 'correct' file, later calls wouldn't be able to find the other version.

Uhhhh, no. You still need to do the manual fix, even if you have a licensed game. (At least you MAY - I know I do).
