Anyone else noticing low rushing stats?

Very few starting backs average over 3.5 YPC.

Never seen this in any of the other versions...

still a great game

Again, my game is perfectly fine. Only through 10 games of 1 season, though...

Same here, very few rushers getting over 300 carries. There is obviously something off, and the QB's in my game are off as well(and as others have listed in another post). They are getting very high stats as a whole.

I must so POOR Bo!

Covington, Bo RB DET 16 16 281 1149 4.0 20 6

Look at that line.. 281 Carries and he can't break a carry over 20 yards? Sheesh... I'm looking at the stats listed above, since I do not yet own the game, and still thinking ALOT if I should or not!(I'm a college student who just bought, College Football 2004, PS2 a few months ago, FFXI a week or so ago, so I can't really afford anything.. But I'm still looking into it!!)

Anyhow, back to my post.. Isn't that a little odd, you rush for nearly 1200 yards and you can't break 20 yards.. I was trying to look up stats at NFL or something to see if it happened a lot if players don't break a large gain or something.. The only person I could think of that would probably relate to this BO guy is Jerome Bettis, big, but kinda slow and easy to catch if he gets more than 10 yards. You know?? BUT THEN, I looked up Bettis' Stats, link below, and his stats state that he's gotten a 20 yard gain plenty of times. So who could we compare this guy to??

I just started up a Quick Sim career, and after 1 season, my stats looked fine.

To my surprise... I find one of the most, what I think is unusual, stats.. Edgerrin James of 2002, ran his longest carry for 20 yards. While his season was shortened a tad, he still had nearly 300 carries(277), and almost 1000 yards..

Sooo.. Weird..

As SD suggested much earlier - just don't get lunch for a week. You'll have saved enough money to justify buying FOF.

Just finished my second season with 12 players over 1000 yds.
None of them averaged more than 4.1 ypc and three of them had a 3.0 avg.

Also seeing QB's lighting it up with 10 over 4000yds and very few injuries to starters..

Hopefully Jim can put a quick fix on this :) .

This is interesting. Several of you have reported this, but I'm not seeing it. I've complete two seasons, and there are 20 "qualifiers" in the career rushing leaders with >4.5 ypc. Ten of those guys have >2000 rushing yards total in two seasons.

There are also five more backs with 3.8-4.4 ypc and >2000 yards in two seasons. That's fifteen rather solid performances, meaning roughly half of the league has a decent feature back. I'll list this in the consolidated bug thread that I'm now compiling as a "possible" bug.
