Should I start a "serious" career now or should I wait for the first patch to come out (usually a short matter of time for Jim after the bugs are reported).
Again, I'm scared to start something serious and then having it whipped out because of a patch that kills my on-going career.
advice ?

Start a serious career. I went thru the same thoughts.

I'd wait. The stats are to out of wack to spent time getting emersed in a career.

I think if you plan on importing draft files from TCY, it might be advisable to wait. Who knows if the fix will be backwards compatable.

Screw those guys, play the damn game. You bought it, play it. Also, the more you mess with the game and experiment, the better you'll be after the patch comes out and/or with multiplay.

Play a non-serious career now and a serious career when the 1st patch comes out and a really serious career after the 2nd patch. The 3rd and final patch is usually compatable with the 2nd patched game.

And at that point FOF2005 will be released and you get to start the cycle all over again. ;)

Actually, what I'm doing is playing slowly and focusing a lot on the game plans and formations for each game, basically experimenting with different offenses and defenses. When I finish this season I think I might call plays on the second. This way I figure if a patch comes out and I have to scrap it, I won't be into it too far into it and I will have learned a lot.
