Backyard Brawl with BCS Implications
Pitt and WVU as two of the top three ranked teams in the Big East in its last year as we know the conference.
Wow. This is gonna have the potential to be good. Great. Amazing.

Bah, Big East footbal sucks now much less when realignment goes through. As long as their basketball teams stay solid, the Big East will be fine.

As a WVU alum, won't it feel weird to have to root for Pitt over Miami now? Oh wait, you're still rooting against Miami, so it's probably no problem... :)

WVU RAAAARRRR!!!!!!
Now that's out of my system, to be perfectly honest, I almost always root for Pitt except when we play them. Pitt is the quintessential Big East team in terms of character, they're just as Applachian, just a bit over an hour north, etc.
I said that if WVU lost, I wanted Pitt to win out, so we'd have a real Big East team win this year as opposed on a poser.

In both the games I've seen him play (ND/WV), he's disappeared in the second half, but Larry Fitzgerald=Good. Probably more of a result of him doing great 1st half and then teams paying more attention and doubling/tripling him more 2nd half (although I don't know who would be underestimating him in the 1st half at this point.)
Also liked the interview with his father, just because it is refreshing to see a parent who doesn't say anything controversial and just sticks to "It's up to him and I'll support him no matter what."
