Transfer Buys and TS

Is there any way to tell if a player is going to cause a TS drop when you buy him?

I have had foreign players who did, and some who did not, drop my TS (bad start warning in events). Also, if they are nasty or contraversial, does that bring TS down.

Is there any way to tell, or is it 1/2 a crapshoot and 1/2 whatever?

The more negative a players agreeability the more likely there will be a drop. A nasty player will usually cause a drop while a popular one rarely will. You can predict, but like everything in hattrick it is pretty random.

Players can also cause a drop when sold or fired with popular players most likely to cause a team spirit hit. Youth pulls will not cause a hit if sold or fired within the first several days after being pulled.

Like Masked said, it's random. Worse agreeability just gives a higher probability of a bad start.

As for players sold causing it, selling Kez caused a hit to my team. Usually happens with me with players with high agreeability who've been around for awhile. Fortunately, it was right before the reset.

I have had a lot of recent acquisitions bring down TS, 3 in the past week. Not sure if this is related to being early in the season or just bad luck.

BTW, daed, Kez got hurt in his first ever Fear game last wednesday. :(

I've brought in a lot of nasty and controversials and I think they've always brought my TS down. I've had bad luck with pleasants as well.
